In her artistic work, Gertrud Weiss-Richter works with extremely reduced formal-aesthetic means - equally in the areas of painting and graphics, photography, sculpture and installation. Basically, the artist uses - in the sense of a geometric-abstract design logic - the pure line as the central pictorial element and, based on this, the strictly geometric form that develops in spatially conceived concepts.
